MARDAN, 20 December: The ground breaking ceremony of a girls primary school in Kandakas Killi area of Jehangiri council in Mardan was performed on Monday.

Member Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly Iftikhar Mashwani, local government representatives and area people attended the ceremony.

Iftikhar Mashwani said on the occasion that construction of the school will be completed in one year which would cost Rs18 million.

Dr Sahibzada, a local resident, told TNN that this school will prove helpful for the area people.

“Construction of this school will benefit the people of Kanda Chamyaran, Khattakabad, Batai Koroona, Miangul Killi and Kandakas. It is a matter of great happiness for us that our girls will now find it easy to go to school and get education,” he said.
