HARIPUR: The National Highways Authority (NHA) announced completion of construction work on Hazara Motorway by end of ongoing year.
The first two packages of this project have already been opened for traffic after completion, NHA announced in a statement issued here.
The remaining portion from Shah Maqsood interchange to Havelian will be completed by December this year.
The 59-kilometers long motorway will be completed at a cost of Rs34 billion.
The project upon its completion will be helpful in solving traffic problems on Karakoram highway, besides contributing to promotion of tourism industry in northern areas of country.
