Cricket tournament concludes in Upper Dir

UPPER DIR, 8 September: The Ghori Cricket Tournament concluded in Upper Dir on Thursday.

In the final match of the tournament at Shaheed ground, Peshawar Zalmi batted first and scored 147 runs in the allotted 15 overs. Batal Eleven were all out on 140 runs and lost the match. Twenty-two teams from Upper Dir participated in the tournament.

Tehsil Nazim Mir Mehzanuddin, who was chief guest at the concluding ceremony, distributed prizes among the players. He also announced a grant of Rs100,000 for pavement of the cricket ground.
