TANK, 12 October: Daman Club have won the Super-8 Cricket Tournament in Tank.

The final match of the tournament was played between Daman Club and Armani Kaif team on Dabara Jewas ground on Sunday. While chasing the target of 80 runs, Armani Kaif were all out on 60 runs and lost the match.

A large number of spectators came to the ground to enjoy the final match.

A local spectator, Irfan told TNN that the condition of playgrounds in the area is very poor which needs to be improved.

“The local youth are talented in games like cricket, volleyball and football but they cannot polish their skills due to lack of facilities,” he said. He added that provision of facilities to local players was inevitable to improve their game and enable them to compete on national and international level.
