PESHAWAR, 19 September: Dengue continues to claim lives as yet another patient lost his life to mosquito born disease on Tuesday at Hayatabad Medical Complex.
According to Dengue Response Unit, Inayat Khan was admitted to the hospital few days ago who breathed his last. So far, 28 patients have died to dengue in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to the unit, around 328 cases of dengue were reported since last 24 hours n KP. The provincial government has been struggling to control the mosquito born disease.
To help the KP government, Chief Minister Punjab Mian Shehbaz Sharif sent medical teams that started treating patients at affected areas after the KP government refused to allow them entry into hospitals.
