PESHAWAR, 5 October: Dilawar Khan from South Waziristan Agency, who topped the matriculation exam from the whole FATA region, has got another distinction by securing fourth position in FATA in the entry test of medical colleges.
TNN correspondent said Dilawar Khan has secured 567 marks in the medical entry test and secured fourth position in FATA. Dilawar Khan said while talking to TNN that he wants to become a doctor, but cannot afford expenses of medical college. He appealed to the government to financially support him to fulfil his dream of becoming a doctor and serving humanity.
“I appeal to the government to give me scholarship to support my medical education. My dream will be shattered if I didn’t get scholarship. I belong to a poor family which cannot afford expenses of medical college,” Dilawar said.
Dilawar had secured first position in all the government schools in FATA in the matriculation exam of 2015 by securing 925 marks. At that time a local political leader came forward and supported Dilawar’s education in a private college for two years.
