CHARSADDA, September 19: Doctors at a private hospital on Tuesday carried out throat surgery of an eight years old child instead of piles.

Parents of the child told Tribal News Network that they admitted their son at Shah Medical Complex who was suffering from piles (hemorrhoid). They said that doctors showing height of negligence operated throat surgery.

The parents and relatives of the child registered a case against the negligent doctors and demanded action against them. The hospital management confessed the mistake and assured that they would compensate the parents. Dr Taza Gul Afridi who operated the child said that the child chart was replaced with another patient chart who have a similar name.
