DAGGAR,6 November: The earthquake affected people of Tinolo Dheri, Buner have complained that despite the passage of ten days since the occurrence of devastated earthquake, no government official has visited their area nor they have been compensated for the losses.
Talking to TNN, residents of Tinolo Dheri said they have been forced to live in an under construction school with no water, electricity and other basics amenities.
They said none of the government officials had so far visited their area nor they had been included in the damages assessment survey. Aziz Ahamd, one of the residents of Tinolo Dheri told TNN that he had 12 members in the family but the local administration had provided him only one tent and two blankets, which were insufficient for his large family.
He said his family members including women and children had been living in freezing cold which could endanger their health.
When asked, Assistant Commissioner Munder said “our resources and relief teams are far less as compared to the earthquake affectees, this is why we could not reach them in time”. He assured that the district administration team would visit the village.
