PESHAWAR, September 25: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Education Department has set up a complaint cell titled “Computerised Grievance Redressal System”.

By dialing 8889, people can file complaints about educational institutes of their respective areas and the complainant will be updated about solution to the problem.

The new system was established with the special collaboration of provincial Information Technology Department and inaugurated by provincial Minister of ducation Mr Atif Khan.

The minister told the inaugural ceremony that they had already implemented the system in two districts on trial basis where it got successful and they then decided to implement it in the whole province.

The provincial education minister said that they were planning to implement this system in health, revenue, police and local government departments as well.

“People can file different types of complaints like the issues regarding the building of schools, teachers and other things,” he added.
