Elders accuse Razmak Cadet College principal of corruption, demand inquiry

BANNU, 22 October: The elders of Razmak sub-division of North Waziristan Agency have accused the principal of Razmak Cadet College of corruption and called upon the government to conduct inquiry against him.

Malik Ikram Turikhel, a tribal elder, said while talking to TNN in Bannu that the principal carried out the contract of the college canteen and other construction work himself. He alleged that the principal gave substandard food to students when he was in-charge of the canteen. He further alleged that the principal either took the furniture and other equipment of the college to his home or sold it when the college was shifted back to Razmak from Nowshera after completion of operation Zarb-e-Azb.

“The standard of the cadet college is going down as previously the cadets of this college shined in every field, but now the situation has changed under this principal. He is not even giving quality food to children. The students are also fed up with this situation. A proper inquiry should be held against the principal,” he said.

Two other elders, Maulana Abdul Haye Haqqani and Malik Zaman Alikhel demanded the government to conduct inquiry into alleged corruption of the Razmak Cadet College principal.
