PESHAWAR, 21 November: England defeated Pakistan in the fourth and last match of the four-match series in Dubai on Friday and won the series 3-1.
England decided to bat first after winning the toss and scored 355 runs for the loss of five wickets in the allotted 50 overs. Jose Buttler scored 116 runs and Jason Roy scored 102. Muhammad Irfan and Azhar Ali got two wickets each for Pakistan.
In reply, Pakistan were all out on 271 runs in the 41st over. Babar Azam scored 51 runs, while Shoaib Malik scored 52. Moeen Ali and Adil Rashid got three wickets each for England.
The Twenty-20 series between Pakistan and England will begin on 26 November. The first match of the three-match series will be played in Dubai.
