PESHAWAR, 18 November: England defeated Pakistan in the second one-day match of the four match series in Sharjah on Tuesday and gained 2-1 lead.
Pakistan batsmen failed to post a formidable target and the whole team were out on 208 runs. Muhammad Hafeez was the top scorer for Pakistan with 45 runs. Woakes took four wickets.
England easily surpassed the total with the loss of four wickets in 41 overs. Taylor scored 67 runs, while Buttler scored 49 runs for England. Taylor was declared man of the match. Zafar Gohar, who made ODI debut, got two wickets.
The last match of the series will be played on 20 November in Dubai. Pakistan must win that match to level the series, while England will win the series if they won the match.
