PESHAWAR, 12 August: Around 23,000 students appeared in the entrance test conducted by Educational Testing and Evaluation Authority (ETEA) for admissions in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa medical colleges.
According to Khyber Medical University (KMU), the tests were simultaneously held at centres in Peshawar, Dera Ismail Khan, Abbottabad and Swat. The paper of a student in Dera Ismail Khan was cancelled for using cell-phone during the test.
ETEA Director Dr. Asim told the TNN that proper security arrangements were made for the test. However, a student taking test said: “The test was pretty interesting. But the arrangements to beat the suffocating heat were not up to the mark.”
Likewise, another student said: “I am a student of Islamia College [Peshawar] and came here to appear in the ETEA test. Test was easy and the arrangements were also good. But the candidates were served with water instead of juices.”
