PESHAWAR, 9 November: An exhibition of old and new model vehicles was arranged by the district administration and Pak Wheels in Peshawar on Sunday.

Hundreds of people attended the Auto Show which was organised at the Islamia Colligate cricket ground. The purpose of the show was to attract the people towards Peshawar and tell them that the law and order situation has now improved in the region.

More than 300 rare old and new model vehicles and motorcycles from all parts of the country were put on display during the show. Food and handicraft stalls were also installed on the occasion and arrangements were also made to give people awareness about traffic laws at a separate stall.

A student who visited the exhibition told TNN that it was a very attractive show which provided good entertainment. “A lot of people have come here from different areas of the country. The environment of this cultural show and exhibition is very attractive for students,” he said.

Another student said such exhibitions provide good entertainment facility to the students living in hostels. “We often get bored due to home sickness in the hostels. Such exhibitions and shows provide us good knowledge and reduce our home sickness,” he said.
