PESHAWAR, 17 December: The leaders of the FATA Grand Alliance have agreed to hold negotiations with the FATA lawmakers on the issue of reforms in the tribal areas.
Talking to media persons on Wednesday, Parliamentary Leader of FATA in the National Assembly Al-Hajj Shah Jee Gul Afridi said he has extended an invitation of talks to the FATA Grand Alliance leaders for better future of the tribal population. He said it is necessary to think above personal differences to ensure good reforms in FATA and hold talks to resolve issues.
On the other hand, FATA Grand Alliance leader and former federal minister Hameedullah Jan Afridi said all the elders have agreed to hold talks on FATA reforms. He said there are no personal issues with FATA parliamentarians and it’s all about the rights of the tribal population. He hoped that the negotiations will produce positive outcome.
