PESHAWAR, September 18: Frontier Corps has sent seven truckloads of food for the victims of floods in Punjab province.
The FC’s Colonel Coordination Mr Mamoonur Rasheed told media that the entire package was about 50 tons of food items, for which the FC soldiers and officers had also donated.
He said that in the second stage, they will send medicines and non-food items for the flood victims.
“There was a vast destruction due to flood disaster and it’s impossible for the government to fulfill all the needs of the victims. That’s why made an effort to help them. In future, we will also be ready to provide assistance to them,” he added.
