BARA, November 15: The FATA Disaster Management Authority (FDMA) has said that the internally displaced persons (IDPs) who have done their registration beforehand do not need to go through the process again.
Mr Waheed Rehman, in-charge of the FDMA camp in Bara, told TNN that the camp had been setup for the registration of those people who got displaced due to the Operation Khyber-1 but are were registered with them up till now.
However, many people who have gone through the registration process were still standing in the queues for the process. Such people not only waste their time but they also create problems for the deserving internally displaced persons (IDPs) and the workers of FDMA, he added.
“All of those IDPs whom are already registered with us and those who have not received their tokens or family cards till now, are requested to kindly go to the respective camps that have already been set up to deal with such purposes. We are to register only those people who have recently migrated here.”
