PESHAWAR, August 21: Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf has once again suspended talks with the government.
On the other hand, the National Assembly has passed a resolution for the rule of law and constitution and in favour of the Prime Minister, Mr Nawaz Sharif.
A member of the PTI committee, Mr Shah Mehmood Qureshi, told media that the government had started placing containers around their protest rally to besiege them.
He said the government was planning to arrest the activists of PTI. He alleged that Inspector General of Islamabad Police, Mr Aftab Cheema, had been suspended by the government because he was not willing to follow orders of arrests.
The PTI chief, Mr Imran Khan, has asked his party workers to remove the containers. The government has notified that the IG Police had not been suspended but that he had gone on leave.
Meanwhile, the government and opposition benches in the National Assembly have passed a resolution in favour of Mr Nawaz Sharif. The resolution was presented by leader of the Pakhtunkhwa Mili Awami Party, Mr Mehmood Khan Achakzai.
