PESHAWAR, 9 September: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has called a meeting of the federal cabinet today (Friday).
Media reports said the federal cabinet will discuss a 15-poitn agenda including return of Afghan refugees, Diamer-Bhasha Dam project and implementation of Cyber Crimes Bill. The meeting will ratify the Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) decisions and discuss other important issues.
Reports said a summary has been prepared for granting one-year extension in stay of Afghan refugees in Pakistan.
Meanwhile, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has expressed reservations over the summary, arguing that there is no logic behind extending the stay of Afghan refugees in Pakistan.
