Five soldiers injured in Mohmand Agency blast

GHALLANAI, 12 September: Five security personnel were injured in a bomb blast in Mohmand Agency on Monday.

Security sources said the security personnel were on a routine patrol in Kodakhel area when their vehicle hit an improvised explosive device planted on the roadside. The injured soldiers were identified as Havaldar Ismail, Lance Naik Khan Wali, Asif, Idrees and Sepoy Kashif. The injured soldiers were taken to Combined Medical Hospital (CMH) Peshawar through a helicopter.

The security forces launched a search operation in the area after the incident. However, no arrest was made in the operation.
