MIRANSHAH: Two people, including the son of a former Member National Assembly, were shot dead in two separate incidents in North Waziristan Agency on Saturday.
The political administration said Musa Kaleem, son of former MNA (late) Muhammad Deendar, was shot dead by unknown armed men inside his house.
In another incident of target killing, unknown gunmen shot dead a school teacher Abdul Qayyum.
Five target killing incidents in NWA during one month
The increasing incidents of target killings have created an atmosphere of fear and insecurity in the tribal region. It was the fifth incident of target killing in North Waziristan during the last one month.
Meanwhile, one person was injured in a bomb attack on the vehicle of a tribal elder in Gandao Sultankhel area of Haleemzai tehsil in Mohmand Agency on Sunday.
The administration said the vehicle of Malik Haji Ahmed was attacked with a remote control bomb. However, he remained safe in the attack. The vehicle was damaged in the attack and his driver sustained injuries.
