KOHAT, 2 December: Four terrorists involved in the Army Public School (APS) Peshawar massacre were hanged in Kohat Jail on Wednesday.
Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif had signed their black warrants on Monday. Earlier, their mercy petitions were also rejected by the President of Pakistan.
According to official sources, these terrorists include Maulvi Abdus Salam, son of Shamsi, Hazrat Ali, son of Awal Baz Khan, Mujeebur Rehman alias Ali alias Najeebullah, son of Gulab Jan, and Sabeel alias Yahya, son of Attaullah.
On 16 December, 2014, militants killed more than 150 people, mostly students, at the APS in Peshawar. The military said the group involved in attack on the APS included 27 people. Nine of them had been killed and 12 were arrested.
