PESHAWAR, October 11: Four more polio cases have surfaced in Pakistan, raising the total number of affected children to 206 in the country.

According to the National Institute of Health, two cases have been reported from Peshawar and one each from Khyber Agency and Punjab.

The Institute has also written to the all the four provinces, Gilgit-Baltistan, Azad Kashmir and the Central Health Establishment Directorate to take notice of the fake vaccination certificates being issued to Pakistanis travelling abroad and conduct an inquiry in this regard.

On 10 October, the Indian government had complained to Pakistani authorities that several Pakistani nationals visiting the country had attached fake vaccination certificates with their visas.
