PESHAWAR, 14 October: The district government of Peshawar has decided to establish sports complexes in the four towns of the district to promote sports activities.

Decision to this effect was taken during a meeting between Peshawar District Nazim Muhammad Asim Khan and the district sports officer on Tuesday. The district nazim said a football academy will also be established at Tehmas Khan Football Stadium in Peshawar. He said free of cost football training under the supervision of official coaches will be provided to the football players at the academy.

Mr Asim said the sports complexes will be established in Naguman, Pishtakhara, Mirah Kachori and near Superior Science College. He said each sports complex will be built on 40 kanals land and its construction will be completed in one year.
