PESHAWAR, October 5: A one-day free medical camp, set up for internally displaced persons of Khyber Agency, has concluded.
About 750 patients were examined and given medicines at the camp, held by the welfare organization Voice of FATA.

Speaking to media in Pordilabad locality, the Voice of FATA chairman Mr Bahrullah said patients of cold, cough, diarrhea and skin diseases were treated at the camp. He said more such camps would also be held.

Several patients at the camp said they availed testing and treatment facilities for free in the premises.

“Doctors first tested us and then gave us medicines. We are glad to see them here, serving local residents because we are faced with problems here. Roads are blocked, health facilities are scarce. We need such medical camps,” said one of the local residents at the camp.
