PESHAWAR, 2 December: The tug-of-war competition among 12 girls schools and colleges affiliated with the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Peshawar (BISP) concluded on Thursday.

In the final match of the competition at the Peshawar Board ground, Government Girls College Chagharmati defeated Lady Griffith Higher Secondary School 3-0.

In the match for third position, Peshawar Model Degree College defeated Jamrud College.

Former squash world champion Qamar Zaman, who was chief guest at the concluding ceremony, distributed prizes among the players.
