QUETTA, 23 May: Balochistan Assembly Speaker Jan Muhammad Jamali has tendered his hand-written resignation to the Balochistan governor, which has been accepted, according to the sources in Governor’s House.

The Balochistan government had decided last night to table no-trust motion against the speaker. Jamali, a Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) lawmaker, is alleged to have violated the party policy by pitching his daughter in the Senate election which cost PML-N a seat of the Upper House of the Parliament.
