PESAHAWAR, 5 August: An unidentified gunman attacked the vehicle of cricket legend Wasim Akram in Karachi today, official sources said.

Karachi police said that the former cricket team captain and all-rounder was on his way to National Stadium to coach the bowlers at a training camp when a man opened fire on his car.

Akram termed the incident as a trivial matter, which, he said, may occur anytime, anywhere. He said he has shared the registration number of the vehicle of the assailant with police for take legal action against him.
