PESHAWAR, 20 November: Pakistan all-rounder Muhammad Hafeez has refused to play alongside Muhammad Aamir, who was convicted for his role in spot-fixing, in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL).

The Chittagong team had signed Hafeez and Aamir, but now Hafeez has refused to play in the same team with Aamir, arguing that he brought disrepute for the country and cricket by indulging in spot-fixing. He said he will be available for playing in any other team of the BPL.

Muhammad Aamir was one of the three cricketers who were banned from international cricket for their role in spot-fixing in a series against England. Aamir has returned to domestic cricket after end of the ban period.
