PESHAWR, 27 November: A training workshop on recognition of explosive material and avoiding its damages for the youth of FATA arranged by Hilal-e-Ahmer, a welfare organisation, has concluded in Peshawar.

Twenty-five young men from different areas of FATA participated in the training workshop. The participants of the workshop were also provided training on first medical aid.

Programme Manager Shaharyar Khan told TNN that Hilal-e-Ahmer has provided training to 5,000 people from FATA. He said the trained youth of FATA are also working with them voluntarily.

A FATA youth who got training said he got training about providing first aid to people in need in the event of a natural calamity, accident or any other situation. “The scope of these trainings should be widened to more areas,” he added.
