PESHAWAR, 26 October: The Hayatabad Medical Complex (HMC) Peshawar will initiate the Out Patient Department (OPD) evening shift today (Monday) evening.
Medical Director of the hospital, Professor Dr Noor Wazir told media persons that all the arrangements have been completed for launching the OPD evening shift. He said treatment facilities at Surgical, Medical, Gynaecology and Paediatric departments of the hospital will be available for patients in the evening shift by obtaining a chit of Rs20. Nine doctors have been initially appointed for the evening shifts.
Dr Wazir said the patients will have the facility of medical check-up in the evening shifts from 2:00pm to 8:00pm in winter and from 3:00pm to 9:00pm in summer.
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government under the Medical and Teaching Institutions Reforms Act has decided to initiate evening OPD shifts in four teaching hospitals, Khyber Teaching Hospital, Lady Reading Hospital, Ayub Medical Complex and Hayatabad Medical Complex.
