I don’t expect free and fair general elections, says Nawaz Sharif

ISLAMABAD: The ousted Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Monday expressed his concern about the general elections 2018 by saying that he doesn’t expect free and transparent elections.

Speaking outside the accountability court in Islamabad, Nawaz points fingers at the Senate by lamenting that what happened at the previously-held Senate elections is going to happen again in the coming general elections therefore he might not participate.

“What free and fair elections will be held in the country after disqualifying me.”

He maintained that the political parties should be given a situation where everyone has a fair and equal chance of succeeding for ensuring free and fair elections.

Showing outrageous expression at the performance of Chief Justice of Pakistan, he stated that the CJP’s promises are in vain if free and fair elections are not held on time and we must move in rights directions.

Nawaz Sharif also claimed that the CJP is repeating the words of his competitors Imran Khan and Zardari
