ISLAMABAD, 24 May: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Wednesday allowed the Indian woman Uzma to go back to India. Uzma had married a Pakistani citizen Tahir Ali resident of Buner.
During the hearing of her marriage case with Pakistani citizen Tahir Ali, IHC judge Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kiyani ordered the Interior Ministry to send her back to India through Wagah Border and provide her foolproof security.
The court asked Uzma whether she want to live with her husband Tahir Ali to which Uzma replied in no and said that she want to go back to India to meet her ailing daughter.
Meanwhile, Tahir and his lawyers requested the court to grant permission for a private meeting with Uzma. However, Uzma refused to meet with her ‘husband’ Tahir Ali, subsequently, the court did not allow it.
It is pertinent to be mention, Pakistani citizen Tahir Ali and Indian woman Uzma met in Malaysia. Later, they mutually decided to marry each other and after obtaining visa Uzma entered Pakistan and marriage ceremony was solemnized in Daggar, Buner.
