PESHAWAR, 11 December: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has demanded compensation for the innocent non-combatant victims of drone attacks being carried out in Pakistan’s tribal areas by the CIA operated pilotless planes.

Addressing a gathering in Islamabad on Friday the PTI chairman said he had protested against the killings of innocent tribesmen in drone strikes in past and vowed to raise his voice against it on the floor of the National Assembly.

“The US government should compensate the families of those innocent people who were killed in drone strikes,” Khan said.

According to a report published by Foundation for Basic Rights, more than 4000 people including 200 children have been killed so far in drone strikes.
