PESHAWAR, 18 November: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan has announced to expel Member National Assembly Dawar Khan Kundi from the party over violation of the party discipline.
In a video message on Friday, Imran Khan said Dawar Khan Kundi hurled baseless allegations against Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Revenue Minister Ali Amin Gandapur and the Inspector General Police has verified this fact. He said Dawar Kundi is also issuing statements against KP Chief Minister Pervaiz Khattak and not attending party meetings, therefore, it has been decided to sack him from the party.
Dawar Khan Kundi said he was disappointed over the video message of Imran Khan and said he did not hurl allegations against Ali Amin Gandapur and only stated the truth. He told a private news channel that he has sent dozens of applications to the party’s committee, but no application has been taken up. He said Imran Khan is also not interested in meeting him.
Few days ago, Dawar Kundi had accused Ali Amin Gandapur of protecting and giving shelter to the culprits involved in manhandling of a girl in Garamat area of Dera Ismail Khan.
