PESHAWAR: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on Saturday vowed to implement the vision of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah on minorities in Pakistan.

National Minorities Day is being observed across the country to highlight the contributions and sacrifices of minority communities in creation of Pakistan and nation-building.

In his message on the occasion, Imran Khan said the patriotism of minorities and their sacrifices for Pakistan are matchless. He said 11 August is a day for renewal of our pledge to take every step for the betterment of minorities in Pakistan. He said the members of minority communities have served the nation in a befitting manner since the creation of the country.

The PTI chief said Quaid-e-Azam had laid the foundation of Pakistan’s policy on minorities, adding that the PTI will implement that policy in letter and spirit. He said the PTI will ensure full religious freedom and provide equal opportunities to minorities in every walk of life.
