PESHAWAR, 08 December: The Indian government has reportedly approved the cricket series between Pakistan and India which would be played in Sri Lanka.

According to media reports, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has been conveyed the message by the BCCI. The formal announcement of the decision would likely be made by the visiting Indian Foreign Minister Sushma Sawraj sooner or later.

According to sources privy to the development between the two cricketing boards, the series would most probably be played in the current month and would be comprised of three ODIs and as many T20s.
