PESHAWAR, 24 May: Adviser to Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz has expressed grave concern over the statement of the Indian defence minister.

Indian Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar had stated in a statement that India will use terrorism to counter terrorism. In response to the Indian minister’s statement, Mr Aziz said yesterday that Mr Parrikar’s statement endorses Pakistan’s apprehensions that India is involved in terror activities in Pakistan.

The PM’s adviser said Pakistan wants good relations with neighbourly countries as terrorism is a common problem of both the countries. He said Pakistan and India should join hands to eliminate terrorism.

Mr Aziz termed the Indian minister’s statement a threat for Pakistan. He said Pakistan suffered the most due to terrorism.

The Pakistani officials had accused Indian spy agency RAW for fanning terrorism in Pakistan after incidents of terrorism in Karachi few days ago.
