PESHAWAR, 19 May: The Indonesian ambassador to Pakistan Burhan Muhammad—who got severely injured in a chopper crash in Gilgit on May 08—died after 11 days of the incident.

The Indonesian embassy in Islamabad told a foreign news agency that the injured envoy succumbed to injuries in a hospital in Singapore last night.

The deceased envoy was aboard a military helicopter which met a fatal accident while landing in Nalter area of Gilgit on May 08. Besides the Indonesian envoy seven others, including foreign diplomats and Pakistan Army officers, were also died in the incident.
