PESHAWAR, 19 November: An institute of agriculture studies has been established with the cooperation of Denmark in Nur Khan district of Afghanistan.
The institute has been established in Ziari Baba area with the cost of Rs18 million Afghanis. Kunar Governor Ah-Haaj Waheedullah inaugurated the institute on Wednesday, while the local elders and youth also attended the opening ceremony in large number.
The governor said on the occasion that the opening of agriculture studies institute in the area is a very good news for the local youth. He said the institute will provide modern studies to the students in the field of agriculture research.
Mr Waheedullah also attended a local Jirga during which the area people briefed him about the problems of the area.
