PESHAWAR, November 2: The federal government has announced a new policy for recruitments in government sector.
The authorities say the policy will be promulgated with the mutual consent of ministries, subordinate offices, independent and partially independent organisations and regulatory authorities.
The candidates will be offered employment in BPS-16 and above after they qualify the test of Public Service Commission. However, the recruitments from Grade-3 to Grade-15 would be done on the basis of respective provinces or domiciles, while the recruitment process will be completed within two months.
According to the new policy, the placement of candidates in all of the federal ministries, divisions, departments, independent organisations and corporations would be done on the basis of local and provincial quota system. The vacancies for the employments/jobs will be advertised in the newspapers.
In addition, the appointments will be made for the posts approved by the establishment.
