Islamabad High Court Justice Saman Rifat Imtiaz heard Naeem Panjotha's request to meet PTI founder Imran Khan. During the session, Justice Imtiaz questioned the Punjab government's report, which stated that responsibilities outside the jail fall under district police jurisdiction.
She asked whether this meant the Punjab government had no authority in this matter. The State Council clarified that this was the Deputy Secretary's response regarding prisons.
When asked about the meeting arrangements, the Additional Advocate General explained that the glass wall in the meeting room was intended to prevent the delivery of drugs or other suspicious items to the jail. Justice Imtiaz expressed concern, noting that lawyers are not typically restricted from meeting prisoners and questioned the policy's implications.

In a related case, the Islamabad High Court also adjourned the hearing regarding the unsealing of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) office until next week. It should be noted that on June 4, the court ordered the immediate unsealing of the PTI office in Islamabad, an order that has yet to be implemented.
