PESHAWAR, 13 December: The third convocation of the Islamia College University was held here Sunday wherein as many 168 students were awarded Master, M.phil and Ph.D degrees.

Vice chancellor of the university Dr. Ajmal Khan was chief guest of the convocation. He awarded 12 Ph.D and seven M.Phil degrees to scholars whereas 149 degrees were awarded to students completing their postgraduates and BS program. Besides, twelve students were also awarded gold medals for achieving top position in their respective classes.

Meanwhile, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan visited Islamia College and attended centenary celebrations of the institution.

Speaking to the students on this occasion Imran Khan urged them to utilize their resources for the betterment of the humanity. He further asked the students to complete their education and work for the betterment and development of the country.
