PESHAWAR, 19 November: The Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) has decided to convene a grand tribal Jirga on 4 December to discuss the issue of merger of FATA with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The JI FATA chapter ameer Haji Sardar Khan said the party chief Sirajul Haq will head the Jirga, which will be organised at Shahi Bagh in Peshawar.

The members of National Assembly and Senators from FATA besides tribal elders will attend the Jirga. Participants of the Jirga will discuss reforms and development projects in FATA.
