TIMERGARA, 03 April: Workers of both the coalition partners Jamaat-i-Islami (JI)
and Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) in Lower Dir district have been
active to take credit for distributing tokens of Insaf Sehat Cards.
JI Lower Dir chapter spokesman engineer Yaqooburrahman accused PTI for
distributing fake tokens among the residents. “Only those tokens bearing
signatures of KP finance minister Muzaffar Said advocate would be
acceptable as the CM had announced that the cards would be distributed
through elected members”, he said.
However, senior vice president PTI Lower Dir Malik Rahatullah said
tokens being distributed by PTI workers were not fake and asked JI not
to politicize the matter. He said PTI had no objection over anyone in
distributing the tokens and added let this phase be completed in a
smooth way so that the deserving people may get their right. “It doesn’t
matter wether tokens bear someone’s signature or not”, Malik Rahat said
both PTI and JI had the same tokens but JI wanted to announce tokens
distribution at its April 9, procession.
