PESHAWAR: The Judicial Commission formed under the order of the Supreme Court of Pakistan to investigate terrorist attack at the Army Public School (APS), Peshawar has started recording statements of the parents of the martyred students.

The single-judge commission of Justice Ibrahim Khan is recording statements of the victim families in his chamber. On 19 October, the Judicial Commission had issued a public notice inviting people to record statements with the commission.

On Monday, three parents of martyred students recorded their statements to the Judicial Commission. Those who recorded statements on Monday included Ajoon Khan and his wife Shahana, whose son Asfand Khan was martyred in the APS carnage, and Ahmad Ali, whose son Uzair Ali was martyred in the heinous incident.

More people have been summoned for recording statements in the commission today (Tuesday). The judicial commission’s focal person Muhammad Imran said 90 people have got registered with the commission for recording their statements.

144 people, mostly students, were martyred in a terrorist attack on the APS Peshawar on 16 December, 2014.
