MARDAN: Workers and supporters of Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam Fazl (JUI-F) welcomed the persons acquitted in Mashal Khan lynching case by an Anti-Terrorism Court and declared them as heroes.
They gathered at Motorway Interchange and also staged a protest at the Mardan Motorway Interchange on Wednesday against an Anti-Terrorism Court’s (ATC) verdict in the Mashal Khan murder case.
They shouted slogans against the slain Mashal Khan and vowed to challenge the decision of ATC at the Supreme Court. The crowed also welcomed the 26 persons were acquitted by the ATC and declared them as heroes.
JUI-F Mardan chapter leader Maulana Shujaul Mulk criticized the court for its verdict and said that the issue would not end here and strongly criticized the government.
