SUKKAR, 23 September:  Opposition leader Pakistan Khursheed Shah on Saturday criticized former president Pervez Musharraf and asked him to return to the country and face the cases if he was that brave.

Addressing a ceremony here, he came down hard on Musharraf who recently alleged former president Asif Ali Zardari for his involvement in in Benazir and Murtaza Bhutto’s murder.

He asked him to return like Benazir Bhutto did and do politics like Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Shaheed and spend time in prison like Zardari, adding that they didn’t go abroad like him.

He also questioned timing of Musharraf’s statements and asked why the former president remained quiet for 10 years, adding that it was an attempt to create rifts between parliament and institutions.

He said that those who have been trying to weaken the parliament were enemies of Pakistan. Former president Asif Ali Zardari also asked Musharraf to return and face cases instead of issuing statements from abroad.
