PESHAWAR, 7 December: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly on Tuesday passed a resolution on giving right to vote for eunuchs.

The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) member Amna Sardar presented the resolution which said the eunuchs should be given right to vote in the 2018 elections. The resolution was passed by the house with majority.

The House also passed a resolution against National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) for blocking computerised National Identity Cards (CNICs) of people. The KP Assembly members criticised NADRA for blocking the identity cards of citizens due to which they are facing difficulties.
