PESHAWAR, 3 October: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Pervaiz Khattak on Monday ordered establishment of Hazara University campus in Battagram at a rented building on priority basis for starting technical education classes.

Addressing a meeting of Board of Directors of Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (TEVTA) in Peshawar, the chief minister also directed to fill 159 vacancies of grade-16 and below in different departments of TEVTA. He also approved appointment of 500 contractual instructors on vacant seats in different departments and also raised their salaries from Rs30,000 to Rs50,000.

The chief minister also approved handing over empty buildings of different departments in Peshawar, Takht Bhai and Mardan to TEVTA.
